Frequent Shopper is Real Value IGA’s loyalty program. With a Frequent Shopper card, you earn points every time you shop which can be redeemed for discounts off your future purchases.

Each time you use your Frequent Shopper card when you shop, you accumulate Points. The amount of Points earned depends on how much you spend. Every dollar earns you one Point, so $10 spent earns you 10 Points, $100 spent earns you 100 Points, etc. You can redeem your Points to receive discounts on your purchases. To do this, you must have earned at least 500 Points. When redeeming, 500 Points is the equivalent of $5.00. If you have over 500 Points, you can tell the cashier to redeem as many of those Points as you would like (as long as it does not exceed the total of your purchase). Example: You have 1300 Points, and your current purchase total is $50.00. You can request that the cashier use all of your Points ($13.00), thereby giving a new total of $37.00. Points do not expire and can be used whenever you wish, provided your Points total is at least 500.

There are 2 options available to you:

  • Visit our Customer Service desk in-store and ask for a Frequent Shopper Application Form.
  • Fill out the online form.

Your Frequent Shopper card is free.

How do I use my Frequent Shopper card?

All you need to do is present your Frequent Shopper card to the cashier before you begin to checkout your groceries. The cashier will scan your card, and give it back to you.

How many points do I earn?

Each time you use your Frequent Shopper card when you shop, you accumulate Points. The amount of points earned depends on how much you spend. For every dollar, you earn 1 point. Spend $10, get 10 Points. Spend $100, get 100 Points.

How do I redeem Points?

If you have at least 500 Points, you can redeem some or all of them during checkout. All you have to do is tell the cashier how many Points you would like to redeem. When redeeming, 500 Points = $5.00. Remember that you can let your Points accumulate and enjoy a greater discount. Points never expire so there’s no rush to use them.

How do I know how many Points I have?

Your points total is shown on the bottom of your receipt. Additionally, you can always ask the Cashier once your card has been scanned.

Can I receive cash for my Points?

No, Points are not redeemable for cash.

How do I use my Frequent Shopper card instore?

How do I use my Frequent Shopper card online?

When registering for your online shopping account, ensure to enter your 11-digit Frequent Shopper card number (can be found at the back of your card). To successfully register your Frequent Shopper card to your online account, please ensure your email address corresponds to what is recorded for you in our system. Please note: If you are prompted by an error message (card# is already in use) please contact us on (473) 404 – 2121 to update your information.

Can I still shop online without having a Frequent Shopper card?

Yes, however, you will not have access to special offers and or earn any points on the respective purchase.

Can I transfer points from prior purchase if I don’t get my Frequent Shopper card in time or forgot to input my Frequent Shopper data?

No, Frequent Shopper points cannot be transferred to your card. To avoid this from occurring, please sign up for a Frequent Shopper card before proceeding with your shopping (applies to both instore and online shopping)

What happens after I apply for my Frequent Shopper card online?

Your information is automatically received in our system, after which a customer service agent creates your unique account. Subsequently, your card will be available for collection at the store’s customer service desk. Please note: If you have applied for your Frequent Shopper card, have not yet received it and would like to proceed with an online transaction, please contact us on (473) 404-2121 to request your information.

How long does it take before I receive my Frequent Shopper card?

Both new and replacement cards take approximately three days to process and ready for collection.

Do I have to collect my card instore before I start shopping online?

If you wish to use your Frequent Shopper card in our online store, you should collect your card at the store’s customer service desk prior to shopping online. However, if you are unable to collect your card and wish to proceed with an online transaction, please contact us on (473) 404-2121 to request your information. Please note: For instore transactions, your physical card should be presented to the cashier.
